Animal control programs pick up and impound or return to their owners domestic animals who have strayed from their homes. Animal Control Officers are also charged with enforcing leash laws, animal sanitation ordinances and handling complaints regarding domestic animals who have bitten someone or are otherwise making a nuisance of themselves. The Campbell County animal control officer is unable to handle wildlife.

If you need animals picked up or have issues with roaming animals or abuse/neglect, please call 423-566-1892 or 423-566-8018 within the County.
This office answers routine calls Monday through Saturday from noon to 5:30 pm. Routine calls will be logged and handled as soon as possible during regular business hours.

If you live within the city limits of Lafollette, call 423-563-0686. If you live within the town of Jacksboro, call the City Office and ask for animal control. 423-562-9312.
For true animal emergencies, dial 911.

Keeping pets in their homes and food bowls full by distributing pet food to those in need.

People in need of pet food can come to our shelter during normal hours to receive assistance.

Donations of any kind of pet food are very appreciated.

The ASPCA estimates that 40% of owners who surrender pets to shelters really just need temporary assistance. FCCA wants to do our part for our Campbell County neighbors by offering help with pet food and other pet supplies when we can. In one month, we help keep 85 pets out of shelters by helping their owners!
